1.Summary
The Midnite Mine Superfund
Site (Site) is located on the
Spokane Indian Reservation in
eastern Washington State
(Appendix A). The Site
includes a former open pit
uranium mine, associated
waste rock piles, seep
collection and pumpback
facilities and water treatment
plant (WTP). The mine ceased
operation in September 1981
and from that time, water has
collected in the two open pits
on the site. The Superfund
Record of Decision (ROD)
requires the Site to obtain an
NPDES permit. The discharge
occurs within the boundary of
the Spokane Tribe of Indians
where EPA is the NPDES
permitting authority. A
description of the basis for
the conditions and
requirements of the draft
permit is given in the Fact
Sheet.

The Region 10 Office of EPA
has tentatively determined to
issue the NPDES permit
described in the "Summary"
section, above.

An Order of Sale has been issued in the above-captioned case, directed to the Sheriff of Spokane County, commanding the sheriff as follows:
WHEREAS, in the above-entitled court on January 22, 2016, Plaintiff, secured a judgment against defendants LORRAINE FALLS, AS PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ESTATE OF JOANNE C. BOATSMAN, DECEASED, in the total judgment amount of $40,305.36, together with interest at a rate of $5.11 per diem from the date of judgment and continuing thereafter until the date of sale.
WHEREAS, 17 days elapsed from January 5, 2016 through the entry of judgment on January 22, 2016. Per diem interest in the amount of $5.11, multiplied by 17 days results in additional interest in the amount of $86.87, which when added to the sum of $40,305.36 results in a total judgment amount of $40,392.23.
WHEREAS, the judgment is a foreclosure against parties of a Deed of Trust Mortgage on real estate in Spokane County, Washington, described as follows:

Refundable hardcopy sets of drawings and specifications may be obtained only by ordering through the printer - Abadan Reprographics at the "NAC Architecture Plan Room" website, www.nacplans.com - by and for bona fide Washington licensed bidders upon deposit of $250.00 per complete set (make checks payable to NAC Architecture and mail to Abadan Reprographics, 603 East 2nd Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202). Deposit will not be returned if documents are mutilated or so marked that they are not reusable and/or if they are not returned to the Architect within ten (10) days after bids are received. Additional or partial sets may be purchased at the bidder's expense (not refundable) at www.nacplans.com or another plan center of the bidder's choosing. Bidders wishing to be formally listed as a plan holder must log in and choose "Add me as a Plan Holder" at www.nacplans.com, where a current plan holder list is continually posted. Any questions regarding www.nacplans.com shall be directed to Auron K. at Abadan Reprographics, 509-747- 2964 or repro@abadanspokane.com.
Optional Pre-Bid Conference: Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 3:30 PM at the school site.
No bidder may withdraw its bid after hour set for opening thereof, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding 90 days.
The Board of Directors of Quincy School District No. 144 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
